‘Greens’ ruin the Chetzemoka
December 30, 2010 · Updated 10:02 AM
I rode the M/V Chetzemoka today for the first time. What a huge disappointment! The amount of wasted space is a crime. The side, mid-level mezzanine areas should have been configured to carry more cars, not walk-on passengers and bikes. Basically, a part of Highway 20 has been taken away from the automobile drivers and given to the pedestrians and bike riders. Transportation taxes went to a bike lane and walking path, resulting in less road capacity for the transportation taxpaying automobile drivers. The socialist tyranny of green insanity strikes again.
