The American Cancer Society’s North Whidbey Relay For Life 2010 season has come to a close as of Aug. 31 with our largest fundraising dollars ever. Our community came together to make a difference in the fight against cancer and raised $216,566.58 which was $34,000 over our goal.

I would like to thank the sponsors, planning committee, team members, team captains, participants, entertainment groups, food vendors and mostly importantly our cancer survivors for making the North Whidbey Relay a success.

If you are interested in participating in the 2011 Relay For Life you can visit our website www.relayforlife.org/northwhidbeywa or contact Taryn Somers at Taryn.Somers@cancer.org.

Thank you for your continuing support.
