We are writing to honor someone who has been pivotal in accomplishing WAIF’s move into our newly located Thrift Store and Cat Adoption Center in Oak Harbor.

The Thrift Store manager, Mary Anna Cummings, has been instrumental in making the relocation smooth and successful. She put many, many hours into planning and executing this move. Without her, the move would have been impossible.

Not only did she physically move fixtures, boxes, and in-store items, she encouraged the employees, kept the store functioning, listened to the volunteers’ suggestions and complaints, directed the workers, oversaw the building renovations, and managed to keep herself and everyone else sane during the trying moving process! All with efficiency and a cheerful attitude.

All the staff and volunteers extend a warm, heart-felt thank you to her. She is the best!
