Letter: Hospital’s commissioners kowtow to administration

Editor,

Why did WhidbeyHeath Medical Center change its name? Did they spend thousands of dollars on some marketing firm who suggested it?

The hospital may say the cost was small but what about the hundreds of forms that had to be gotten rid of and reprinted with the new name?

If the hospital thinks that by changing its name it will get rid of the odor of years of questionable management and secrecy, they are sadly mistaken. When are the commissioners going to stop giving blanket approval for everything the administration wants?
