Holiday season: Honesty saves Christmas cash

I would like to publicly commend one young man who certainly made my Christmas.

Last week, while carrying a package to Market Place post office to mail, my wallet, unknowingly, fell out of my handbag. To make a long story short, a very caring and honest person, Shane Downhour, found the wallet and turned it in to the nearby video store. There, they contacted me to let me know where it was.

When I picked it up, everything was intact — credit cards, cash and even an endorsed check. I shudder when I think of the problems I could have faced, and I am deeply grateful to the video store for contacting me, but mostly for the caring and honesty that Shane displayed. Thank you both so very much!
