William Frank Morgan: March 28, 1930 – June 22, 2017

William Frank Morgan was born in Cora, Kan., on March 28, 1930, to Carl and Estie Morgan. He passed away at Skagit Valley Hospital on June 22.

Bill grew up working on his family’s farm in Kansas. He joined the U.S. Navy in his teens, where he spent 30 years of his life serving his country before he retired from service. After he retired, he earned two associate degrees from Skagit Valley Community College, one in marine technology and the other in auto mechanics. He also earned his real estate license and eventually retired from selling homes.

In his spare time, Bill loved to go camping and hiking in the mountains. A true lover of water, he also liked to go swimming and fishing. He also loved to cook all kinds of food for his much-loved family and friends. All in all, the farm boy from Kansas grew up to lead a wonderful, interesting and enriching life and was a wonderful, loving husband.

Bill is survived by his wife, Michiko Morgan, his brother Morg (89), sister Tony (91) and sister Inez (82), all located in Idaho.
