Stephen J. Brown: Feb. 16, 1921-Oct. 10, 2017

Stephen J. Brown, also known as “Bus,” was born in Woodinville on Feb. 16, 1921, and lived there most of his 96 years.

He married Ida May Erickson in 1945, and they had a daughter Gail in 1949 and a son Eric in 1952. Four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren called him Pops and Papa and loved him very much.

Bus was a dairy and beef farmer who provided a wonderful farm life for his family. He was humble, honest, loyal and generous, and he loved the Lord.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Woodinville U. Methodist church, 17110 140th Ave. NE., Woodinville.

Bus is survived by his wife Ida May, now living in Oak Harbor; daughter Gail Stewart (Rick) in Oak Harbor; son Eric Brown of Bellingham; grandchildren Jake (Tanya) Stewart with Connor, Cassidy and Cole of Kamas, Utah; Matthew (Zena) Brown with Ellie and Jack in Allentown, Pa.; Kelly (Kelly) Stewart with Cori, Juliana and Toby in Albion, Wash.; Lisa (Eric) Sieberson with Audrey and Maya in Seattle.
