Richard Norman Jenson, age 60, of Oak Harbor, passed away at his home Sunday, July 30.

He was the son of the late Jean and Edwin Jenson, and husband to his late wife Beverly.

He is survived by his children Lydia and Elizabeth, and sisters Phyllis, Joyce and Dorothy.

A Navy veteran, Richard was very active in the maritime community on Whidbey Island; his passion for the sea brought him great joy.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, at Windjammer Park, 1600 S. Beeksma Drive, Oak Harbor.
