Norm Austin, LCDR, USN (Ret), age 95, longtime Oak Harbor resident, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at WhidbeyHealth Medical Center.

Norm served his country honorably in three wars. His love of children led him to a second career of teaching. He is survived by his wife, four children, 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will take place at Life Church, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10 a.m., with military honors by NAS Whidbey Honor Guard. Memorials are suggested to Disabled American Veterans.
