Oak Harbor resident Michael P. Hoing passed away Sunday, May 7, with his loving family by his side.

He was 57 years of age. He was born in Oakland, Calif., to Joan (Sanborn) and Maynard “Joe” Hoing.

Mike loved to hunt and fish, “shoot the bull” and play sneaky gags on people.

He is survived by his son Anthony Hoing, mother Joan Hoing, brother Kevin Hoing and sister Kelly (Cliff) Beedle. Also surviving are nephew Kyle Hoing, niece Taisha Beedle (Justin) Spires, great-niece Hayley Roberts and great-nephew Lucius Hoing.

Friends are invited to a picnic celebration of life 2-4 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at the home of Kelly and Cliff Beedle, 1581 1st Ave. NE, Oak Harbor, WA.
