Mary ‘Frances’ Keller: March 16, 1928-Nov. 22, 2016

Mary “Frances” Keller, 88, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at her home in Oak Harbor. Mary Frances Keller was born March 16, 1928, in Somerset, Ky., the daughter of William and Artie Tomlinson.

She was united in marriage to Edgar V. Keller on June 20, 1946, in Norwood, Ohio. He preceded her in death Jan. 11, 2002. They were married for 56 blissful years. She was also predeceased by her sister Jean Kingery and brother Ralph Tomlinson.

She was a woman of unquestioning faith, who, while able, was an active member of the Urbancrest Baptist Church, Lebanon, Ohio.

She loved the Lord and rejoiced in her relationship with God each and every day.

A consummate mother and homemaker, Frances was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She also loved to watch food and cooking channels, and was an avid Bengals (and later Seahawks) fan, and loved to watch them play.

Frances is survived by her son David and his wife Suzette and daughter Cathy and husband Steve Herrick. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Courtney Vail, Jessica Keller, Amanda Keller and Brittany Madsen, and six great grandchildren, Jayla Keller, Joey Brinkman, Alex Smith, Tess Brinkman, Noah Vail, Maddee Knight and Justin Madsen, due in March 2017.

No funeral services are presently scheduled as family and friends gathered for a celebration of her life on Thanksgiving Day. A graveside service will be provided in the Lebanon Cemetery, 100 – 108 SW St., Lebanon, Ohio, her home of 50 years, and the final resting place of her husband, Edgar V. Keller. Services are tentatively scheduled for 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, 2016. She touched so many and will be missed.
