Laura, Ivylynn and Imriel White

Laura Christine White, 25, and her two children, Ivylynn Mircea White, 5, and Imriel Varuna Cassiel White, 3, died on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016, as a result of a fire at their Oak Harbor home.

Laura was born Jan. 14, 1991, in Tucson, Ariz. to Frank Hrldicka and Michelle Spielman. She grew up in Arkansas and Arizona and attended Mountain View High School.

In Great Lakes, Ill., on Oct. 11, 2009, she married Alexzander White after less than two months together. They moved to NAS Whidbey on Dec. 23, 2009.

Laura spent her time sketching, singing, baking, writing, playing on the computer and loving her children. She was always doing something, and her passions showed in her children — they took to art quickly.

Laura is survived by her husband Alexzander White, her sister Mary and her brother Tony.

Ivylynn Mircea White was born at the Oak Harbor Naval Hospital on May 21, 2011. She was a climber — if it could be climbed, she had climbed it. When she was not climbing, you could find her talking about anything and everything.

She was always up to something, whether it was climbing, singing, talking, pillow fighting with her brother or recoloring mom’s sketches. Her happiness was infectious and ever-present. She could cheer up anyone she met.

Imriel Varuna Cassiel White was born at the Oak Harbor Naval Hospital on July 22, 2013. He was a strong and curious little boy. Less than an hour after his birth he was lifting his head and looking at the bright new world that surrounded him. He never lost that wonder — he was always watching and examining everything around him.

When he was not glued to his mom’s side, he was playing with his sister. He constantly could be found next to mom, a pencil in hand scribbling his way through a notebook. When dad left for work, he could always count on Imriel watching him from the living room window.

Interment will be at Maple Leaf Cemetery. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and condolences at www.whidbeymemo rial.com
