Inger Laur Jensen, 86, of Anacortes, formerly of Oak Harbor, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 18, in Anacortes. Inger was born on Sept. 19, 1930 in Gjellerup Verde, Denmark, the daughter of John and Bodil (Christensen) Bank.

She was married for more than 60 years to Bent L. Jensen who preceded her in death on Jan. 22, 2016. In 1955, Bent and Inger lived in Pullman, Wash, where she was employed as a secretary with an accounting firm. In 1977 they moved to Oak Harbor and after Bent’s retirement, moved to Anacortes.

Inger was a friend to everyone she met with her beautiful smile, and she will forever be missed.

She is survived by her nephew in San Diego, Calif.
