Gloria Jean McKinley: Nov. 6, 1926 – July 25, 2018

Gloria Jean McKinley, 91, of Oak Harbor passed away July 25, 2018. She was born Nov. 6, 1926.

She met the love of her life Charles “Earl” McKinley, and they were married in 1946. They had four children together.

Gloria was a piano teacher most of her life. She was the organist at Oak Harbor Southern Baptist Church for 40 years.

She also was a very talented artist. She painted pictures all her life.

She loved to display and sell her paintings each year at the Pickle Barn in Mount Vernon during the Tulip Festival.

Gloria invited Jesus into her heart 55 years ago. For this reason, we celebrate that she is in heaven with Jesus and her loved ones forever.

She is proceeded in death by her husband Earl, and her daughter Carole Wieldraayer.

She is survived by her sons, Steve McKinley (Twylla), Mark McKinley and Brian McKinley (Robin).

Gloria also leaves behind 18 grandchildren.

A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held at 2 p.m. at Oak Harbor Southern Baptist Church, Sept. 15, 2018.
