Frank Schufletowski: Jan. 24, 1940-Sept. 15, 2017

Dr. Frank Schufletowski entered Heaven to be with his Heavenly Father and his son Christ Jesus on Sept. 15, 2017.

Frank was born in Havre, Mont., on Jan. 24, 1940. He married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Paradis on Aug. 11, 1960. They were married 57 years. They had three children, Lorelei, Suzanne and Drew. Suzanne died in 2011 of breast cancer.

After completing high school in Columbia Falls, Mont., Frank pursued higher education in Phoenix, Ariz. While there, he obtained the degrees of bachelor of arts, master of theology and master of arts. He finished his higher education at Washington State University where he was the youngest in the School of Education to earn his Ph.D at the age of 25.

He then served at the following locations: professor at Idaho State University; professor at the University of Kansas; Department of Defense, research associate at the United States Armed Forces Institute; Department of the Navy, principal civilian advisor to the Chief of Naval Air Training; Department of the Air Force, technical advisor, chief scientist, chief of Air Force Instructional Systems Development; Delex Systems Inc., senior instructional developer.

Frank enjoyed the spirit of competition in distance running and participating in the Texas Senior Games. He has a wall full of medals from his many successful runs.
