Deborah Sue Voss, born at Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii, on Aug. 1, 1951, passed away at her home on June 11, 2019, following a lengthy illness. She was 67.

The first child of Master Chief Thomas B. Gwartney and Esther Rose (Kim) Gwartney, Debbie moved frequently around the world as a Navy wife, but always came back to Oak Harbor.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019 (her birthday), at Rocky Point.
