Anthony B. Leitch : June 17, 2018

Anthony B. Leitch, of Arlington, Wash., passed away June 17, 2018 at the age of 61 at Providence Hospital in Everett, surrounded by his family.

Tony was born at Oakland Naval Hospital and raised on Whidbey Island in Oak Harbor. He graduated from Oak Harbor High School with the class of 1975. In 1978, he married Carol Berner in Oak Harbor.

Tony and Carol raised three children, Kristi Deehan (Jason) of the Dominican Republic, Stacey Miller (Kristian) of Mead, Wash., and Andrew Leitch, of Arlington, Wash. He was a loving and proud grandfather to Carter and Beatrice Deehan, and Ava Grace, Charlie and Samuel Miller.

His father was the late Bill Leitch and mother Betty Leitch of Oak Harbor. He has three sisters, Belinda Mower (Robert) of Liberty Lake, Wash., Lauri Brown (Steve) of Issaquah and Mary McGee of Auburn. He leaves four nieces, two nephews and three great nieces.

Tony operated and owned The Closet Guys Inc. with branches in Spokane and Marysville.Tony was also a member of Immaculate Conception Parish in Arlington, Wash. He was a devout and active parishioner, working with each ministry the church sponsored and as parish council president.

Services will be 10 a.m. June 29, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Parish, in Arlington, Wash.

Rosary Vigil for Tony will be 7 p.m. June 28, 2018.

He will be laid to rest at 3 p.m. in Maple Leaf Cemetery next to his beloved wife, Carol, who passed away in 2011. Reception to follow at Oak Harbor Elks Lodge.
