Crowning Oak Harbor royalty

Baelee Whitinger was crowned Miss Oak Harbor 2017, Thursday at the third-annual Miss Oak Harbor Scholarship Pageant at Oak Harbor High School.

The event awarded more than $10,000 in scholarships and awards, with Whitinger recieving a scholarship check of $2,500.

In addition, Trinity Slowik was named people’s choice and Aly McLeod won Teen Miss 2017.
