Whidbey woman earns WWU scholarship

Western Washington University senior ERIN ROSENKRANZ, daughter of Scott and Kerry Rosenkranz of Whidbey Island, received the $1,500 Ruth Watts Science Scholarship for the 2019-20 academic year.

Ruth Watts Science Scholarship is awarded to a woman majoring in science, preferably in chemistry, who has the ability and ambition to do advanced research.

Rosenkranz is a member of the scholastic honors group, The National Society of Leadership and Success. She is a researcher in WWU associate professor of chemistry Sergey Smirnov’s Biochemistry Lab.
