Whidbey Garden workshop is accepting vendor applications

Island County Master Gardener Foundation is holding its 31st annual workshop Saturday, March 2 at Oak Harbor High School and is accepting applications for vendor space in its Garden Marketplace.

The Garden Marketplace is located in the school’s spacious Field House.

Vendors are provided free parking, separate loading/offloading entrance, monitored customer package holding area and complimentary breakfast, lunch, snacks and beverages.

The marketplace is an opportunity for artists, gardening specialty vendors, and other sellers of interesting items to market their wares to interested gardeners on that day.

Applications are due by Feb. 20, 2019.

As in years past, sold-out registration is anticipated with 450 attendees registering for over 45 horticultural classes.

Keynote speaker is Dan Heims, an internationally known plantsman and president of Terra Nova Nurseries, known for its new plant introductions.
