Skagit Valley College will take part in the “College Goal Washington” event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct.13 at the college’s campuses on Whidbey Island and in Mount Vernon.

College Goal Washington helps students and families complete the free applications for federal and state student aid, needed to apply for financial assistance for post-secondary education.

Students from SVC, as well as high school students and their families, are invited to attend.

Attendees will receive assistance from trained volunteers. Financial aid experts will be available to answer questions.
