Parents of children new to the Coupeville School District should plan to register Aug. 14-16 for grades kindergarten through fifth at Coupeville Elementary School .

The school office will be open from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. each of those days. A current immunization record for all grade levels is required at the time of registration.

Birth certificates are required for kindergarten and first grade. Children must be 5 by Aug. 31 for kindergarten entrance and must be 6 by Aug. 31 for first grade entrance.

If children have special needs or have been receiving special services, a copy of their current individual education plan at the time of registration is helpful.

School begins Tuesday, Sept. 4.
