MATTHEW ROSENCRANS is the Rotary Club of Oak Harbor’s Student of the Month for April 2019. He is the National Honor Society treasurer for Oak Harbor High School. He is taking or has taken eight advanced placement classes to include physics, chemistry and calculus.

His expertise in high school is robotics and Naval Junior ROTC. He has won multiple team awards for robotics. He has volunteered to mentor robotics with the Boys and Girls Club as well as the North Whidbey Middle School.

Matthew’s plans are to attend the University of Washington to major in biology or physics.
