An Oak Harbor man died this morning in a two-car accident on Silver Lake Road.

Peter E. Heller, 38, was driving a 1994 Chevrolet S10 Pickup eastbound when he crossed the center line in a curve, according to a Washington State Patrol press memo.

He struck Joshua D. Peterson, 29, also of Oak Harbor, who was driving westbound in a 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 Pickup.

Heller was pronounced dead at the scene and Peterson was uninjured.

State Patrol cites crossing the center line as the cause of the accident.
