Naval Air Station Whidbey Island retrofits ‘Giant Voice’ speaker

Through December, the Navy is retrofitting its mass warning and notification loudspeaker system known as “Giant Voice.”

The loudspeaker system is located at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.

Announcements may be heard emanating from NAS Whidbey Island during the day beginning Nov. 2 and continuing into early December to ensure the “Giant Voice” is functioning properly.
