Getting four goals in a match for the second time this season, Mia Litteljohn provided the offense as the Coupeville High School soccer team whipped visiting North Mason 4-1 Thursday, Sept. 22.

Littlejohn, who also has a pair of three-goal matches this fall, received an assist from Sage Renninger on a corner kick for one of the goals.

It wasn’t all offense for the Wolves, according to coach Troy Cowan: “Defense continues to be a strength, and Megan Deporter took little time demonstrating her ability to quickly come into a match and totally dominate. She was tremendous; her versatility and experience allows us to move other players around and adjust to our opponent’s attack.

“(Goalkeeper) Lauren Grove dominated and was loud and proud. She left no doubt who was in charge.”

The Wolves (2-0, 3-2-1) will attempt a sweep of the first round of Olympic League matches when it goes to Klahowya (1-0, 3-1) at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27.
