Island Scanner: Callers report woman flashing people on Pioneer

The following were gathered from calls made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:

Tuesday, June 13

At 8:10 p.m., there was a report of a drunk man hosing down a building on Bayshore Drive.

Wednesday, June 14

At 5:56 p.m., there was a report of two people playing banjos in a parking lot on Goldie Street.

At 6:43 p.m., a caller reported that two transient men were sticking needles in their arms on Erie Street.

Sunday, June 18

At 2:58 a.m., a Izett Street resident reported being awoken by a woman screaming that she had seen the devil.

At 4:08 p.m., a driver reported that a homeless man was swearing and jumping in front of cars on Barlow Street.

Monday, June 19

At 12:43 p.m., there was a report of gas being siphoned out of vehicles on Southeast Pioneer Way.

At 1:43 p.m., a caller reported a transient man was pulling down his pants on Pioneer Way.

At 3:01 p.m., a caller reported that a “tweeker lady” was yelling and lying down on the sidewalk on Ernst Street.

At 3:58 p.m., there was a report of two men living out of a pickup truck in a parking lot off Ireland Street. The men were cat-calling employees and using the parking lot as a bathroom.

Thursday, June 15

At 11:52 a.m., a caller reported that a woman was flashing people and running into traffic on Pioneer Way.

At 2:05 p.m., a caller reported that a homeless man stole his backpack on Barlow Street.

At 2:35 p.m., a caller on Barlow Street reported that a homeless man stole his cell phone charger on Barlow Street.

At 5:22 p.m., an Atalanta Way resident reported that neighbors were feeding raccoons.

Saturday, June 17

At 1:10 p.m., a Sumner Drive resident reported that her neighbor had a marching band in the backyard.

Monday, June 19

At 5:30 p.m., a resident reported that a man was talking to bushes on Barrington Drive.

At 7:15 p.m., a caller reported that a homeless woman was sitting in the middle of Ernst Street.

At 8:34 p.m., a caller reported that a woman with a lot of suitcases was lying in the middle of Ernst Street and seemed “really high.”

At 9:56 p.m., there was a report that an alleged prostitute was soliciting men in front of a location on the highway.

Sunday, June 20

At 10:31 a.m., an employee at a Midway Boulevard business said a woman was “ranting and raving,” opening food and throwing it, saying she is hungry.

At 4:37 p.m., a caller at a Southeast Pioneer Way location reported that a homeless man took all the candy and threw it in the parking lot. He also threw a “kill list” in the lobby.

At 7:42 p.m., a fire was reported on a pile of rocks off Erie Street.

Monday, June 21

At 10:35 a.m., a resident reported that a man was standing in the middle of Pioneer Way, holding a bucket and a blanket.

Wednesday, June 23

At 2:28 a.m., a North Oak Harbor Street resident reported that a man kicked in the door and ran off.

At 12:47 p.m., a caller reported that a trailer was losing cows on the highway near Oak Harbor.

At 10:45 p.m., a Southwest Orcas Street resident reported returning home to find wet shoe prints on the stairs.

Friday, June 25

At 1:36 a.m., a fight involving eight people was reported on Pioneer Way.
