Saturday, Sept. 1

At 9:08 a.m., a caller reported petting an injured owl on the side of Cultus Bay Road.

At 1:20 p.m., a resident reported that a golf club was stolen out of a vehicle parked at a Freeland Avenue business.

At 7:14 p.m., a caller on Deer Lake Road reported that three dogs came into the yard, bothered chickens and tried to attack children.

At 11:13 p.m., a resident reported that people were lighting cherry bombs on a Mutiny Bay beach.

Sunday, Sept. 2

At 9:22 a.m., a Donald Road resident reported that someone broke into a camper and stole items.

At 4:54 p.m., a caller reported that someone intentionally started a fire at the base of a tree next to a skate park on Maxwelton Road.

At 7:48 p.m., there was a report of a 20-foot power boat with no one on it was drifting in Holmes Harbor.

At 8:53 p.m., a Canterbury Lane resident reported that his wife came home from drinking at an Oak Harbor festival and attacked him with a knife.

At 10:44 p.m., a Brenden Circle resident reported being harassed her her estranged husband’s mistress.

Monday, Sept. 3

At 12:34 p.m., a rural Oak Harbor resident reported being stalked by an unknown person.

At 7:26 p.m., a Kringle Road resident reported finding a crumpled napkin in her work shoes.

At 8:09 p.m., a Witte Way resident reported that someone flew a drone over his property.

Tuesday, Sept. 4

At 10:10 a.m., a resident reported that four hogs were walking down the middle of Fairway Lane.

At 12:21 p.m., a caller reported finding a dead woman on Jones Road.

At 2:27 p.m., a possible burglary was reported on Ridgeway Drive.

At 5:52 p.m., a resident of a home on Highway 20 reported that someone in a van stole all his stuff.

At 7:13 p.m., a woman reported that her boyfriend won’t stop sexting.

At 3:12 p.m., a caller reported that a dog on Shady Glen Lane gets shocked a few times a day from an invisible fence.

At 4:43 p.m., a burglary was reported on Bonito Way.

Thursday, Sept. 6

At 3:04 a.m., a caller reported that someone in a hockey mask was sitting in a car on Forest Knoll Lane.

At 3:47 p.m., there was a report that someone broke into a garage on Highway 525 and stole a truck.

At 5:45 p.m., a caller reported receiving repeated calls from a jail inmate.

Friday, Sept. 7

At 7:15 a.m., a caller reported that “a fellow was in a place he shouldn’t be” on Main Street in Coupeville.

At 11:51 a.m., a Harrington Road resident reported that the house was shot up with BBs.

At 5:09 p.m., a caller reported finding a toddler wandering around on Whitney Drive.

At 6:09 p.m., there was a report of a neighbor videotaping another neighbor on Mohawk Drive.

At 11:36 p.m., a caller reported that two men couldn’t “settle down” on Haven Way.

At 12:51 p.m., a woman reported that a resident of a Faris Street home wouldn’t let her get stuff out of the freezer.

At 1:33 p.m., a caller reported that a sex offender was walk-in on Sandy Point and children were in the area.

Monday, Sept. 10

At 11:26 a.m., a caller reported that he posted bail for a woman who is leaving the area with drug dealers.

At 6:06 p.m., a resident reported that a man and a woman were living in a car parked in a parking lot on Harbor Avenue.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

At 8:30 a.m., a McDonald Drive resident reported that a man who said he was from Publishers Clearing House was coming over to give her a check.

At 9:04 a.m., there was a report of a man chopping railings with a knife on Reindeer Road.

At 11:32 a.m., there was a report that a man died at a Altair Place home.

At 1:46 p.m., a Sixth Avenue resident reported that his son’s moms have a landlord hacking into computer files.

At 2:18 p.m., a caller reported that a fawn was dead with a rope around its neck on Mutiny Bay Road.

At 2:38 p.m., a self-inflicted gunshot to the hand was reported on Silver Lake Road.

At 11:20 p.m., a big, dead, white bunny was reported on Brooks Hill Road.

Wednesday, Sept. 12

At 9:49 a.m., a Burroughs Avenue resident reported that an otter broke through boards and was underneath the home.

At 12:13 p.m., a caller reported there was branches breaking and people screaming obscenities at a homeless encampment on Oak Harbor Road.

At 1:05 p.m., an Allyson Street resident reported receiving a call from the U.S. Treasury about a warrant.

At 7:38 p.m., a Parker Woods Lane resident reported seeing a white German shepherd on the property.

Thursday, Sept. 13

At 12:42 p.m., a caller reported that someone broke into a lock box on Meerkerk Lane and stole money.

At 2:56 p.m., a driver reported that a man was yelling at traffic on Goldie Street.

At 4:22 p.m., a caller reported that tires were slashed on a car parked on Oak Harbor Road.

At 6:02 p.m., a woman reported that a deer attacked her dog on Front Street in Coupeville. The pooch was OK.

At 7:51 p.m., a woman on Topaz Court reported that a man “blasted” her on the face.

At 9:16 p.m., a car theft was reported on Silverspur Road.

At 9:44 p.m., there was a report of a man suspiciously running toward the Freeland Cafe.
