The Navy’s Blue Angels will conduct a flyover at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island’s Ault Field Monday, Aug. 1 en route to Seattle for Seafair. Base officials expect the flyover between 1 and 1:30 p.m., but that time could change.

Residents in Oak Harbor should have the opportunity to view the Navy’s demonstration team as they will fly from north to south over parts of the city. This will be a flight of five aircraft with a sixth non-participating aircraft in trail, according to a media release from NAS Whidbey.

If the time does change, a spokesman for NAS Whidbey said they would publish that change on the base’s Facebook page online.

The Blue Angels will conduct a full demonstration at Genesee Park on Lake Washington as part of the Seafair Airshow on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 5-7 from 1:15-2:30 p.m. all three days. The Blue Angels airshow will include the C-130 Fat Albert.
