Wednesday, July 10

At 3:29 p.m., a Crosswoods Circle resident reported that a neighbor caught a homeless man stealing out of the garage.

Thursday, July 11

At 1:17 a.m., a Cameron Road resident reported that his cat was on the neighbor’s roof.

At 10:09 a.m., a caller on Monroe Landing Road reported that a dog was bitten by another dog that was off leash.

At 10:30 a.m., there was a report that someone vandalized a port-a-potty at a Freeland pot store.

At 2:14 p.m., a caller reported that a man discharged from the hospital had “his hands down his pants playing with himself” at a bus stop on North Main Street.

At 4:24 p.m., a caller on Bercot Road reported that two kayaks had been stolen over a couple of months.

At 8:38 p.m., a caller reported that a man with a backpack was crawling under a truck at a State Highway 525 location.

Friday, July 12

At 2:53 a.m., a Meadow Lane resident reported that her house shook like crazy from what turned out to be an earthquake.

At 11:21 a.m., an “elderly” Sawmill road resident reported smelling marijuana.

At 11:27 a.m., a resident reported that a man on meth punched through a window and barricaded himself in his room.

At 2:29 p.m., a driver reported that a man in a blue Audi SUV pulled over to the side of Highway 525 and started punching a child in the backseat.

At 2:51 p.m., a caller on Alliance Avenue reported not being fed in several days.

At 2:52 p.m., a Polnell Road resident reported that her roommate stole her Sleep Number bed.

At 5:41 p.m., a burglary was reported on Donna Drive. A resident and kids returned home to find everything disheveled and drawers open.

At 6:12 p.m., a home invasion burglary was reported at a Highway 525 home.

Saturday, July 13

At 8:51 a.m., there was a report that a motor was stolen off a boat on East Harbor Road.

At 11:23 a.m., a North Whidbey resident reported being stalked and threatened by her daughter’s ex-boyfriend.

At 5:16 p.m., there was a report that a dog bit a woman on Magellan Drive.

At 6:22 p.m., a driver reported that a young girl was walking by herself in the northbound lane of Highway 20.

At 11:07 p.m., a Lopez Drive resident reported that a pack of coyotes had been coming into his backyard and howling.

Sunday, July 14

At 12:11 p.m., a caller on Cedar Street reported that a Boston Whaler boat was beached.

At 12:46 p.m., a man on Langley Road reported that people stole his girlfriend’s leaf blower and weed whacker.

Monday, July 15

At 12:30 a.m., a caller reported that a man was trading child pornography for car parts.

At 7:05 a.m., cattle were reported on Miller Road.

At 8:22 a.m., a Monkey Hill Road resident said peacocks came onto the property and caused damage.

At 5:50 p.m., a Maxwel-ton Road resident reported that someone stole tools from a shed.

Tuesday, July 16

At 12:22 p.m., a woman said her dog was injured after being attacked by another dog on Taylor Road.

At 1:21 p.m., a woman on North Whidbey reported being conned out of $16,800 by man who said he was going to move to Whidbey to be with her.

At 2:30 p.m., a Lombardy Lane resident reported that a pet horse died.

At 5:37 p.m., a South Whidbey resident asked what happens to dead deer.

Wednesday, July 17

At 7:56 a.m., a newspaper delivery person reported that a man on Britzman Loop threw rocks at the caller.

At 9:37 a.m., a caller said that a shop on Swantown Avenue was egged.

Thursday, July 18

At 8:49 p.m., a woman reported that a black dog chased her on Fish Road.

At 10:27 p.m., a caller reported that a man walking on Newman Road seemed drunk and had a knife in his hand.

At 4:09 p.m., a North Whidbey resident said that a man texted her that he was going to have “his homies rain down on” her.

At 5:31 p.m., a Saratoga Road resident reported that a drone flew over the house.

At 8:53 p.m., a caller on Classic Road said that airwaves told him his neighbors are doing cruel things.

At 7:17 p.m., an assault by “the zipper” was reported on Camano Avenue.

Sunday, July 21

At 7:55 a.m., there was a report that a patient at the hospital was screaming and slamming doors.

At 8:17 a.m., a woman went to the county jail and reported she was assaulted at the hospital.

At 12:50 p.m., a Hastie Lake Road resident reported that someone broke into his basement.
