Saturday, Feb. 18
At 3:38 p.m., a caller reported that a 7-year-old child was climbing on the underside of Deception Pass Bridge.
Sunday, Feb. 19
At 12:11 p.m., a caller reported that eagles were “swarming” at a Power Road residence where a family was living without water. The caller was worried the eagles “smelled something.”
At 2:16 p.m., a Sloan Place reported that the bank gave her “real long things.”
At 2:24 p.m., a man gave a Newman Road address, said “she’s nuts” and hung up.
Monday, Feb. 20
At 12:40 p.m., a caller reported finding two kids on top of a tower on Kinzie Road. The kids claimed they were sweeping.
At 3:05 p.m., a caller off the island reported that a man who grew up on Whidbey Island became a Navy SEAL but now is in hiding from “the bureau.” The caller said “they” are monitoring.
Tuesday, Feb. 21
At 10:13 a.m., a Chick Road resident reported that she may have left a curling iron plugged in at her home.
At 4:24 p.m., a Golf Course Road resident requested that someone unlock his gun cabinet.
At 6:33 p.m., an angry Strawberry Point Road resident reported that her husband grabbed her and pushed her.
At 7:03 p.m., a caller reported people with flashlights were walking around the back yard of a vacant home on Swantown Road.
Wednesday, Feb. 22
At 5:44 a.m., Island Transit reported a bus broke down on Welcher Road and was blocking traffic.
At 6:10 p.m., a caller reported that an injured raccoon was in the middle of a campground area on Madrona Way.
Thursday, Feb. 23
At 2:31 p.m., a caller reported “tweakers” were sitting in a car on Brewer Lane.
At 7:14 p.m., a man reported he doesn’t feel safe around the people he is staying with on Swantown. He said they are holding guns.
Friday, Feb. 24
At 10:26 a.m., a caller reported that a Mazda with a radio and wires pulled out was left on Jones Road.
At 5:47 p.m., a Birch Street resident reported that peacocks were on his roof.
Saturday, Feb. 25
At 10:04 a.m., a driver reported that a dump truck pulled over on Silver Lake Road and a man in a construction hat got out and started running away.
At 4:17 p.m., a caller reported that a drunk man was following someone and threatening to shoot him in Fort Casey State Park.
Sunday, Feb. 26
At 9:13 a.m., a Lodgepole Lane resident reported that someone stole a vacuum out of her car.
At 9:12 p.m., a Hi Crest Road resident reported that a drone flew by the granddaughter’s bedroom window. The caller said it happened before.
Monday, Feb. 27
At 11:07 a.m., a Gun Club Road resident reported that a neighbor trespassed on her property, dug a trench and laid pipe to get access to her well.
At 12:27 p.m., a caller reported that a deer on Olympic View Drive was allowing people to touch it.
At 8:02 p.m., a caller reported that a pizza place on Ault Field Road was closed early.
Tuesday, Feb. 28
At 6:13 a.m., a Fireside Lane resident reported someone stole his Honda Civic.
At 7:47 a.m., a Dorsey Drive resident asked for the phone number for the Oscars.
At 10:50 a.m., an employee at WAIF reported that the door to the safe fell off its hinges.
At 11:08 a.m., a Sparrow Drive resident reported that a Husky has jumped the fence twice and attacked her dog. She was bitten as well.
At 7:18 p.m., a Rockcress Lane resident reported that someone broke the door to the garage.
Wednesday, March 1
At 8:50 p.m., a Jones Road resident reported that a 20-something stranger walked into the house. The resident kicked him out.
At 9:59 a.m., a Graham Drive resident reported that someone placed a paper bag full of hair and nail clippings in the caller’s mailbox.
Thursday, March 2
At 10:43 a.m., there was a report that a man with a possible Indian accent called the Oak Harbor School District and threatened that there were four C4 devices on campus that would detonate if they didn’t evacuate.
At 6:03 p.m., a caller reported that a drunk guy was walking down the middle of Oak Harbor Road.
At 9:54 p.m., a caller reported that a burglar inside a Ridgeway Drive home keeps locking the deadbolt when the resident uses the key to open the door.
