Hospital CEO talks health care

Tom Tomasino, Whidbey General Hospital’s new CEO, will be on hand Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. at Oak Harbor Senior Center to talk health.

Tomasino will discuss the status of health care availability on Whidbey Island, provide information about access to primary care and what satellite hospital services are available. There will also be information regarding seasonal influenza and swine flu, and the importance of hand hygiene for flu prevention. Attendees will learn about the future of Whidbey General Hospital and have the chance to give feedback about their needs and concerns. The Senior Center is located at 51 SE Jerome St. Call 279-4580 for more information.
