Property tax statements for 2009 will be in the mail at the end of this week, said Island County Treasurer Linda Riffe.

If you do not receive your statement by March 6, contact the Treasurer’s office at 679-7302. You may also check online at the Treasurer’s Web site at www.islandcounty.net/treasurer. Click on the Island County Property Data and Tax Information link in the right column.

You may pay your taxes online with a credit card or E-check from the Treasurer’s Web site in addition to the traditional payment methods. If using bill pay services, be sure to include your account (key) number or parcel number exactly as it appears on your tax statement to ensure proper processing.

“If you need assistance or have questions, please contact the Treasurer’s office at 679-7302 and one of our staff will be happy to help you,” Riffe said.
