Road accident snarls traffic near Oak Harbor

Traffic on Highway 20 north of Oak Harbor was stalled for over an hour this morning as police investigated a possible drunk driving accident.

The State Patrol reported that a 22-year-old Clinton man was driving a 2002 Acura 32 TL at high speed along Highway 20 near Frostad Road and apparently lost control. The car veered off the roadway and rolled over.

The accident was reported at 5:45 a.m.

The driver was arrested on scene for suspicion of driving under the influence, the State Patrol reported. He was treated for minor injuries.
