Whidbey Disabled American Vets looking for volunteer drivers
July 3, 2008 · Updated 10:44 AM
Whidbey Island Chapter 47 of the Disabled American Veterans need volunteers to drive their DAV Van to the Seattle VA Hospital. The DAV relies on volunteer drivers to transport veterans to keep their appointments at the VA Hospital. Many island veterans would not benefit from much needed medical care without the help of the DAVs transport. If you can arrange at least one day a month to help out, please call 257-4801.
