Heres registration information for students in the Oak Harbor School District.
Returning students
Returning North Whidbey Middle School students and parents or guardians are asked to come to the school to confirm continuing enrollment and pick up their schedule on Aug. 19 or 20 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., or Aug. 21 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Returning Oak Harbor Middle School students and parents or guardians are asked to come to the school to confirm enrollment and pick up schedules at the following times:
Eighth grade: Aug. 19, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Seventh grade: Aug. 20, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sixth grade: Aug. 21, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Late registration confirmation for any grade can be made Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Returning high school students
Oak Harbor High Schools main office will be open Aug. 18 - 28 from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Intradistrict transfers
If you intend to request that your child attend a school other than their assigned school, you must pick up and complete a Request for Intradistrict Trnasfer from at your childs neighborhood school and return it to the school during the registration period. Intradistrict transfer requests are considered on a prioritized and space available basis. Studnets enrolled in Life Skills classes, the ACE program, the RAVES program, the Options program at OHMS and School of Choice at OHE will continue to be assigned to those programs, with district transportation provided. Transportation will not be available for other, voluntary intradistrict transfer students.
Building principals are responsible for all student placement decisions. For questions or assistance call the building principal. A list of school principals and phone numbers is available at the district office, 350 S Oak Harbor Street.
Registration for
new students
North Whidbey Middle School new students registration
Aug. 19 and 20, 9 to 11:30 a.m. and Aug. 21, 9 to 11:30 a.m. and noon to 6 p.m.
Oak Harbor Middle School new students will register at the same time as returning students. See above.
New Oak Harbor High School students, non seniors
Aug. 19 through 22 and Aug. 25 through 28, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the high school counseling office.
All Running Start students can register Aug. 19 through 28 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
