Messages from home

To: AM2 Paul Shank

Now that you have children of your own, you must know and feel that special bond of love that ties you to them in your heart. So any chance I get to let you know how much you are missed and loved, I will take the opportunity to do so. I know it must be very hard to be away from your family for so long -- so keep in mind, everyone here appreciates you and all the troops out there who are fighting for their country.

On the lighter side . . . keep up the good work and I will keep the cookies coming ! I’m sooooo proud of you and the “Lancers.”

Love, your mom, Helen Shank, “one heck of a proud mom.”
