Almanac deadlines approaching

Almanac 2002 deadline is coming

It’s time to update Whidbey Island’s Almanac. This popular publication serves as a vital source of current information for island residents. Almanac 2002 will have information on civic services, parks, recreation and local history. Almanac will publish early next year.

We need to update Almanac’s detailed list of clubs and organizations on the island.

Since Almanac covers Whidbey Island, all groups operating on Whidbey Island are encouraged to submit information. Please send a brief description of the group with any meeting information plus contact information to Almanac,Whidbey News-Times, P.O. Box 10, Oak Harbor, 98277. E-mail smador@whidbeynewstimes.com. Fax 675-2732. Submission deadline to be included in the next Almanac is Jan. 3, 2002.

If a group does not include contact information for publication, the group will not be listed. If your group has stopped meeting, please let us know.

If a group that has previously been in the Almanac does not contact the News-Times or South Whidbey Record with new or updated information, that group will not be listed in Almanac 2002.

For more information, call 675-6611.
