Boo! Island County residents should be reminded that Oct. 31 isn’t just Halloween. It’s also the due date for this year’s property taxes.

Island County Treasurer Maxine Sauter said that property taxes can be paid directly at the Island County Treasurer’s office at 400 N. Main St, directly across from the Coupeville Whidbey Island Bank. Checks can also be mailed to Island County Treasurer, PO Box 699, Coupeville WA, 98239.

In order not to be considered delinquent, tax payments either must delivered to the treasurer’s office by Oct. 31, or postmarked by that same date.
