"Circus Chimera performers jumped, flipped, juggled, dazzled, teased, balanced and smiled as they entertained large crowds under the big top Monday and Tuesday nights at the Whidbey Island Naval Air Station Seaplane Base in Oak Harbor. The circus was brought to Whidbey Island by the Kiwanis Club of Oak Harbor.Circus Chimera is considered a circus of the future because it doesn't feature animals, but instead presents human performers in a variety of unusual and daring acts. That included precarious balancing acts (left) and juggling (right).Circus Chimera travels the United States and Canada. The circus performs today (Wednesday) in Sedro-Woolley. "
