- About Us
"Annamarie Voss harvests lavender at the Sweetwater Lavender farm south of Coupeville. The fields of English lavender will eventually be used to produce oils that can be used in soaps, perfumes and colognes, but this year's crop will likely be dried for sachets potpourris and bulk sale. According to co-owner Gordon Edwards, Sweetwater is the largest English lavender farm in the country, with about 25,000 plants covering five acres. Workers are leaving some plants uncut so that passersby on the highway can continue to enjoy the color and fragrance. This color is the best sign we've ever had, co-owner Susan Morgan said."
