She said the deer charged her truck and was going after her dog.Wednesday, June 14At 1:14 p.m., a deputy reported finding a stolen car on North Bluff Road.Thursday, June 15At 4:05 a.m., a resident reported that some boys piled up some signs, brush and paper on E. Morris Road and set them on fire. He said the kids ran away when he approached them.At 7:13 a.m., a Rhodena Drive resident reported that her mailbox was vandalized.At 2:31 p.m., a Haga Road resident reported that money was stolen from her home.At 4:19 p.m., a large piece of carpet was reported on Highway 20 near Oak Harbor.At 11:40 p.m., a caller reported seeing two horses running northbound on Highway 20 near Jones Road.Friday, June 16At 4 a.m., a woman reported that her husband hit her and she needs an ambulance. She put the phone down after her husband told her that it's not safe to stay on the phone. He was arrested.At 6:03 p.m., a man said he was bicycling on West Crescent Harbor Road when some kids in a Ford Explorer slowed next to him and one of the kids spit on him.At 7:29 p.m., a rural Oak Harbor woman reported that her ex-husband assaulted her and drove off. The deputy took a complaint.At 8:47 p.m., a resident reported that some kids at a vacant lot on Mitscher Drive were chopping down trees.Saturday, June 17At 12:54 p.m., a Christie Road resident reported that her mailbox was vandalized.At 9:00 p.m., there was a report that a small boat capsized off of Strawberry Point. The occupant was picked up by people in a 25-foot sailboat. The capsized boat was tied to logs so it didn't sink.At 9:18 p.m., a Lyon Road resident reported that he assaulted a person because the person refused to leave. An arrest was made.Sunday, June 18At 5:14 p.m., a Homestead Road resident reported that three boys just assaulted his 12-year-old sister.Monday, June 19At 7:06 a.m., a mailbox was reportedly vandalized on Van Dam Road.At 6:07 p.m., a Conniston Way resident reported that a woman was extorting him. One balloon hit a man in the head and knocked him down.At 4:07 p.m., a woman reported that her son was assaulted by a man at City Beach Park.At 11:19 p.m., a witness reported that three people were crawling over a fence at the Skagit Valley College.Saturday, June 17At 4:51 p.m., a N.E. Midway Boulevard business reported that someone stole a cultivator from the front of the business.At 4:55 p.m., a S.W. Third Avenue resident reported that her neighbor threatened her with a pipe.Sunday, June 18At 1:18 p.m., a S.E. Regatta Drive resident reported that her 29-year-old son was high on meth.At 2:42 p.m., a S.E. Sumner Drive resident reported that her 18-year-old brother assaulted her.Monday, June 19At 2:24 a.m., there was a report that a 16-year-old girl was raped nine months ago.At 5:15 a.m., a jailer reported that an inmate was choking or having a seizure. The inmate received medical treatment.At 6:39 a.m., residents of S.E. Jerome Street reported that a 17-year-old girl delivered a baby and they didn't know she was pregnant. The baby seemed healthy. At 8:48 a.m., a man reported that he was assaulted by a woman on Highway 20.At 12:49 p.m., a N.W. Illahee Drive resident reported that someone threw eggs at a trailer and broke the outdoor lights.At 4:44 p.m., a resident reported that someone stole a plant from her porch.At 6:38 p.m., a resident reported that she got a message on her answering machine that states please help me, I don't want to die.At 10:46 p.m., a witness reported seeing a man in a car on S.W. Eighth Avenue roughing up his girlfriend.Tuesday, June 20At 12:32 a.m., a resident reported hearing a woman beating and screaming at children.At 1:39 a.m., there was a report that a drunk woman refused to leave a taxi near Kmart.At 1:51 a.m., an employee at a Highway 20 business reported that he was fighting with a shoplifter.The following items were selected from reports made to the State Patrol:Saturday, June 10At 2:40 a.m., there was a serious one-car accident on Highway 20 near Morris Road. Janice Brunelle, 47, of Freeland was driving a 1988 Toyota pickup southbound. The pickup drifted off the road and hit a tree. Brunelle suffered head, neck and stomach injuries.At 5:05 p.m., a two-car, rear-end accident was reported on Highway 20 and Troxell Road. There were no injuries."
