She said the deer charged her truck and was going after her dog.Wednesday, June 14At 1:14 p.m., a deputy reported finding a stolen car on North Bluff Road.Thursday, June 15At 4:05 a.m., a resident reported that some boys piled up some signs, brush and paper on E. Morris Road and set them on fire. He said the kids ran away when he approached them.At 7:13 a.m., a Rhodena Drive resident reported that her mailbox was vandalized.At 2:31 p.m., a Haga Road resident reported that money was stolen from her home.At 4:19 p.m., a large piece of carpet was reported on Highway 20 near Oak Harbor.At 11:40 p.m., a caller reported seeing two horses running northbound on Highway 20 near Jones Road.Friday, June 16At 4:00 a.m., a woman reported that her husband hit her and she needs an ambulance. She put the phone down after her husband told her that it's not safe to stay on the phone. Oak Harbor Street.Tuesday, June 13At 9:49 a.m., a citizen reported that a man jumped in the back of a pickup and beat a dog on S.E. Ely Street.At 10:51 p.m., a resident reported that someone took a chain from the construction area at the Oak Harbor Middle School and strung it across S.W. Sixth Avenue.Wednesday, June 14At 1:44 a.m., a N.E. O'Leary Street resident reported that a house was egged.At 1:52 a.m., a driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI on S.E. Pioneer Way.At 2:16 a.m., a driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Highway 20 near N.E. Seventh.At 9:16 a.m., a theft of a PC was reported on S.E. Midway Boulevard.At 11:43 a.m., a resident reported that there was wax all over a sign at the Richard Kimball Park.At 4:25 p.m., a man reported that his jacket and keys were stolen at the Oak Harbor High School.At 4:36 p.m., a woman reported that her son was stabbed in the arm with a pen on the school bus.At 5:16 p.m., a caller reported that someone stole the change machine from the laundry area at the Marina. The following items were selected from reports made to the State Patrol:Saturday, June 10At 2:40 a.m., there was a serious one-car accident on Highway 20 near Morris Road. Janice Brunelle, 47, of Freeland was driving a 1988 Toyota pickup southbound. The pickup drifted off the road and hit a tree. Brunelle suffered head, neck and stomach injuries.At 5:05 p.m., a two-car, rear-end accident was reported on Highway 20 and Troxell Road. There were no injuries."
