They said someone previously put rat poison in their shoes.At 10:26 p.m., a Degraff Road resident reported that an intoxicated woman wrecked a car and assaulted him.Wednesday, April 12At 9:06 a.m., an Umatilla Drive resident reported that an ostrich was in his yard. It turned out to be an emu and the owner was called to pick it up.Thursday, April 13At 1:39 p.m., a Smugglers Cove Road resident reported that a neighbor man was yelling and throwing things at her while she worked outside.At 1:41 p.m., a Smugglers Cove Road resident reported that his neighbors were throwing debris in his yard and had threatened him.At 5:50 p.m., employees at Harbor Mechanics on Oak Harbor Road reported finding a military-style rocket on the property. They brought the 18-inch long rocket with the words Rocket PRACATM7A1 in the office. The Navy EOD responded and found that the rocket was inert.At 9:44 p.m., a N.W. Crosby Avenue resident reported that someone stole food from his home.At 9:57 p.m., a S.W. Swantown Avenue resident reported that people were fighting in a parking lot.OAK HARBOR POLICEThe following items were selected from reports made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:Tuesday, April 11At 7:46 a.m., a S.E. Eleventh Avenue resident reported that a woman was sleeping in his greenhouse.At 9:12 a.m., a damaged mailbox was reported on S.E. Barrington Drive.At 11:13 a.m., a road rage incident was reported on S.E. Barrington Drive.At 3:34 p.m., a caller reported being assaulted by a female in front of Wal-Mart.At 5:08 p.m., there was a report that a man at City Beach Park was asking people for money.At 6:32 p.m., a S.E. Jensen Street resident reported that neighbor dogs were killing each other.Wednesday, April 12At 10:28 a.m., a woman reported that her son's CDs were stolen on a school bus during a baseball trip.At 3:32 p.m., a N.W. Cathlamet Drive resident reported that someone broke into a car and stole some CDs.At 5:51 p.m., a N.W. Second Avenue resident reported that a 6-year-old boy in front of her home said his parents weren't home yet.At 6:22 p.m., a N.E. Tenth Avenue resident reported that the back window of the home shattered for an unknown reason.At 6:50 p.m., the Auld Holland Inn reported that eight guests in a room were yelling at each other.STATE PATROLThe following items were selected from reports made to the State Patrol:Friday, April 7At 12:56 p.m., a one-car accident was reported on Highway 20 near Cornet Bay Road. The car left the road and hit a guardrail. There were no injuries."
