Wednesday, Feb. 16At 2:12 p.m., a woman reported that her mother's home on Highway 525 in Greenbank was broken into.At 6:01 p.m., a Jeffrey Lane resident reported that a rude man came to his door selling meat.At 10:06 p.m., a Lodgepole Lane resident reported a neighbor man was walking from trailer to trailer, knocking on doors and trying to read the Bible to people.Thursday, Feb. 17At 12:51 a.m., a driver reported that he hit a horse on HIghway 525 at Classic Road. The horse ran off.At 6:45 a.m., a Lodgepole Lane resident reported that a man said he had stabbed himself and drank lots of vinegar to try to kill himself.At 12:23 p.m., a man reported that he found a dead Rottweiler on West Beach. The dog apparently fell from a cliff.Friday, Feb. 18At 9:21 a.m., a Donald Avenue resident reported that someone tried to get into her back door and tore down her window box.At 2:13 p.m., a woman reported that a 10-year-old boy threatened her 9-year-old daughter with a knife at the park in Northgate Terrace. Saturday, Feb. 19At 12:54 a.m., a Deer Ridge Road resident reported that someone stole a computer from his home.At 6:54 a.m., a girl at a Hemlock Circle residence reported that her babysitter's boyfriend was fighting with her babysitter's husband in front of her home.At 8:41 a.m., there was a report that a stop sign and other signs were down on Imperial Lane.Sunday, Feb. 20At 12:53 a.m., a Crosby Road resident reported that his ex-son-in-law is at his home and refuses to leave.At 12:41 p.m., a rural Oak Harbor woman reported that she received an obscene phone call.At 2 p.m., there was a report that a ranger station on Engle Road was vandalized.At 8:01 p.m., there was a report that a 16-year-old girl beat up her mother in rural Oak Harbor. An arrest was made.Monday, Feb. 21At 5:35 a.m., an Admirals Drive resident reported that a Rottweiler won't let him leave his home.At 7:22 a.m., there was a report that the window in a phone booth on Ault Field Road was smashed.At 8:24 a.m., a Benton Place resident reported that her mailbox was destroyed for the fifth time.At 12:50 p.m., a West Beach Road resident reported that a home under construction was vandalized.OAK HARBOR POLICEThe following items were selected from reports made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:Friday, Feb. 18At 11:12 a.m., a S.W. An arrest was made.Saturday, Feb. 19At 12:03 a.m., a caller reported that a man was assaulting a woman on S.E. Pioneer Way.At 2:06 a.m., a driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Highway 20 at N.E. Seventh Avenue.At 2:24 a.m., a woman reported that her son assaulted her.At 12:18 p.m., there was a report that people in a car were throwing trash out the window on Highway 20.At 12:51 p.m., a caller from Frontier Chevrolet reported that a man and a woman were refusing to leave the show room.At 2:31 p.m., there was a report that someone stole milk cartons from the Help House.Sunday, Feb. 20At 12:46 a.m., a stabbing was reported on S.E. Pioneer Way. The police reported that two men were fighting and one man cut the other with an object, possibly a knife. The 30-year-old victim sustained a superficial cut to his arm and refused medical attention. The 27-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.At 12:49 p.m., there was a report that someone parked a large truck and trailer, with a sign making derogatory claims against a car dealer, at the parking lot near Albertsons.At 1:53 p.m., a man reported that someone smashed the windshield of his car and flattened the tires on N.E. Midway Boulevard.At 6:26 p.m., there was a report that someone vandalized an Oak Harbor Fire Department car.At 7:37 p.m., a N. Oak Harbor Street resident reported that her 17-year-old son was assaulted.At 10:56 p.m., the owner of a S.E. Pioneer Way business reported that someone drove by in an old brown Datsun and threw eggs at her business, hitting one of her customers.At 11:30 p.m., a S.W. Putnam Drive resident reported that someone put a toilet and an orange traffic cone in his front yard.Monday, Feb. 21At 7:12 a.m., a bus driver reported finding a broken rifle in the middle of Highway 20 at S.W. Swantown Avenue.At 9:58 a.m., a S.W. Putnam Drive reported that someone threw eggs and toilet paper at his house and left lots of golf balls on his lawn.At 4:30 p.m., a N.W. Columbia Drive resident reported that his boat was vandalized.Tuesday, Feb. 22At 2:32 a.m., a driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI on E. Whidbey Avenue."
