The road department was notified.At 10:16 p.m., a woman reported that people were harassing her daughter on Orchard Loop.Sunday, Feb. 13At 12:58 a.m., a woman reported a domestic assault in rural Oak Harbor.At 5:48 p.m., a Junco Road resident reported that his back door had been broken into and two handguns and some coins were stolen.At 8:05 p.m., a woman reported that her 10-year-old son had stolen $70 from her purse.Monday, Feb. 14At 7:59 a.m., a Lake Forest Road resident reported that two coyotes had her lab pinned down in her back yard. The animal control officer responded.At 8:34 a.m., a resident reported that dogs were feasting on a dead deer on the side of Highway 20 near Classic Road.At 1:12 p.m., a driver reported that his windshield was hit by a BB on Highway 20 and Power Road.At 1:41 p.m., a Pilchuck Drive resident reported that someone had been in her house.At 2:50 p.m., an Island Discovery School administrator reported that a student who had been dismissed for behavioral problems was refusing to leave.Oak Harbor PoliceThe following items were selected from reports made to the Oak Harbor Police Department:Friday, Feb. 11At 7:41 a.m., a N.W. Fairhaven Drive resident reported that a man in a brown Jeep parked on the side of her home was watching children arrive at school. He was gone before police arrived.At 8:53 p.m., there was a report that a disorderly woman was screaming and threatening to kill someone on N.E. Barron Drive.Saturday, Feb. 12At 6:12 a.m., a S.W. Erie Circle resident reported that her shower door exploded. She said there was a strong smell of ammonia in the bathroom and laundry room the night before. At 1:49 p.m., a S.W. Swantown Avenue resident reported that someone threw rocks at her window.At 8:25 p.m., a Wendy's employee reported that a man came into the restaurant and assaulted a female employee.Sunday, Feb. 13At 1:26 a.m., a driver reported that a man was sleeping in a ditch on S.E. Regatta Drive.At 1:47 a.m., an assault was reported on Pioneer Way.At 2:00 a.m., a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI on S. Oak Harbor Street.At 3:33 a.m., there was a report that a man was urinating on a Jeep Cherokee on S.W. Swantown Avenue.At 7 a.m., there was a report that two people were tearing up lights at a property under construction on S.W. Swantown Avenue.At 9:15 a.m., a hospital worker reported that a female rape victim was in the emergency room. The woman had allegedly been raped on S.E. Barrington Drive by an acquaintance. The police interviewed a suspect but haven't made an arrest.At 5:13 p.m., a S.W. Swantown Avenue resident reported that someone, possibly a neighbor woman, stole a CD player from his apartment while he was in the hospital.At 7:40 p.m., there was a report that people were fighting with baseball bats on Highway 20. One man was taken to the hospital with arm and head injuries. Police are investigating the case.At 9:12 p.m., a N.W. Clipper resident reported that his brother threw a bowling pin at his head.Coupeville MarshalThe following items were selected from reports made to the Coupeville Marshal's Office:Monday, Feb. 7At 11:46 a.m., a driver reported that a large truck passed her on Main Street at Highway 20 and rocks came flying at her truck, breaking the windshield.Tuesday, Feb. 8At 10:30 p.m., a worker at Careage reported that she has a restraining order against her boyfriend and he keeps paging her at work.Thursday, Feb. 10At 1:27 p.m., a man at Town Hall reported that he had been assaulted and the subject followed him to the building.Friday, Feb. 11At 9:27 p.m., there was a report that someone put condoms all over a car at Coupeville High School, including one on the gear shift. In addition, feces was found on the floor of the car.At 11:19 p.m., a man reported that he was ready to talk to an officer about his son, who had chemical burns in his mouth and was treated at NAS Whidbey.Saturday, Feb. 12 At 1:34 a.m., a woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Patmore Road and Highway 20.FireOver the last week, the Oak Harbor Fire Department responded to a flammable gas condition on HIghway 20, four calls for emergency medical assistance, three smoke odor problems, two car accidents, a minor fire on S.W. Third Avenue caused by ashes in a paper bag and a minor fire on N.E. Kettle Street."
