Ferries announce new spring schedule

Washington State Ferries will add service with the start of the spring schedule, which begins Sunday, March 24.
Spring service includes one trip per day to Sidney B.C. and weekend inter-island service in the San Juan Islands.
The spring schedule continues through June 15.
Two-boat service on the Port Townsend/Coupeville route will begin Sunday, May 12.
As it did last year, the ferry system will continue on a trial basis late evening sailings on Fridays and Saturdays during the peak season from mid-May through mid-October.
Those sailings are the 10 p.m. from Port Townsend and the 10:40 p.m. from Coupeville.
