Beginning Monday, Feb. 4 until Thursday, Feb. 7, crews from the Washington State Department of Transportation will close one lane of the highway for biannual bridge inspections.
Crews will use two days to inspect each bridge:
l Monday, Feb. 4 and Tuesday, Feb. 5, crews will close the right lane of the eastbound bridge from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
l Wednesday, Feb. 6 and Thursday, Feb.7, crews will close the right lane of the westbound bridge from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The work must be done during the day to ensure a thorough inspection.
Drivers can check upcoming road closures on the Skagit County construction update page at www.wsdot.wa.gov/Northwest/Baker/Construction/default.htm.
