Centre holding fundraisers

With leadership difficulties now over, the board and organizers at Courtenay’s Women’s Resource Centre are planning a few fundraisers for the coming weeks.

On Feb. 10 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m., they’ll be hosting a chocolate restorative yoga class, led by Catherine Reid, by donation. After a calming, healing session, participants will have high cacao chocolate to boost seratonin levels. It will be held at Karuna Studio on Cliffe Avenue - pre-registration is recommended — call 338-1133.

The following Saturday, Feb. 17, they will host a bottle drive from 1 to 3 p.m. and the next Friday, Feb. 23, they will host a Zen Zero Gala Fun Night.

Tickets are $15, and available at the Women’s Centre at 450 D Eighth Street.
