Everybody involved in a car accident south of Oak Harbor Wednesday morning appeared to have walked away without injury.

At approximately 7:45 a.m., Oak Harbor resident Aaron Mitchell, 16, was driving a Saturn south on Highway 20. When he approached the intersection of Nature View Lane, he crossed the center line and collided with a Honda Accord, driven by Coupeville resident Cynthia Boyer.

Island County Sheriff’s Deputy Lane Campbell said it appeared Mitchell fell asleep and the two cars basically sideswiped each other.
